Card Image Gallery: Red
Welcome to the card image gallery for Planeswalking in Kanto.
Below I'll be posting links to galleries organized by color in a similar
fashion to what you see on the official Magic: The Gathering card image
galleries. I'll be grouping multicolored, artifacts, and lands all
together since there aren't too many of them in comparison to the five
base colors. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback in the
comments and enjoy!

Double Edge: This card could very easily be more aggressively costed at 2 CMC.
ReplyDeletePikachu: this card is nuts, and has a 50/50 chance of being broken. At 2/2, this is almost reasonable. At rare this might work.
Primape: Too big of a haster to be a common at 5CMC.
Rhyhorn: Efficient land destruction at common is a dangerous game. I haven't seen much other support for it so it may not be a huge game changer.
Tauros: Could be bigger or be lower CMC, or could just be bumped down to common, but it's a bit too complex at common.
I feel like I'm going through these more or less in the same order you designed most of them, the power level seems to be more and more balanced as I go along.
Haha, maybe you're just being less judgmental as you see more of the set? If you're interested in the process of my design, you should read the rest of my blog entries here. Basically I designed all the creatures first then moved on to everything else. I figured that was the best way to do it since the set is focused on creatures and creature combat.
