Card Image Gallery: Blue
Welcome to the card image gallery for Planeswalking in Kanto.
Below I'll be posting links to galleries organized by color in a similar
fashion to what you see on the official Magic: The Gathering card image
galleries. I'll be grouping multicolored, artifacts, and lands all
together since there aren't too many of them in comparison to the five
base colors. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback in the
comments and enjoy!

Blue
ReplyDeleteBlastoise: Even at that cost, I'm not sure how I feel about what is essentially an unblockable, hexproof, 5 damage. Then again, Aetherling is a thing...
Confusion: I expected confusion and the like to function differently, but I like how you incorporated mill into your set.
Ditto: Should have "or becomes blocked"
Dragonite: this ability feels like a miss to me. Not really very effective, most people would rather just keep swinging in that flying damage.
Gyarados: Broken. Just so broken.
Hypnosis: Very awkward flavorfully...
Magikarp: No. No. Nonononono. Noooooooooooooooooo. Way too cheap and easy to get that broken ass card in play. Magikarp is supposed to be pretty useless for all the effort until it finally evolves. A 1/1 for 1 is too efficient for this.
Metronome: Flavorfully, this seems like it should be an Unexpected Results.
Minimize: Love this card. Would something like "Until end of turn, target creature can't be blocked and has "whenever this creature would deal combat damage, prevent half that damage rounded up" be better though?
Rain Dish: This seems weird, not very blue, and not very useful...
Supersonic: this should be much stronger, maybe 7 or 8 cards.
I'll have to finish the rest later, hope my critique helps!
Teleport: Uses the old wording for "can't be blocked", also very out dated in cost for the ability. Though, if evasion is something you want at a lower than normal power level, this should be fine.
ReplyDeleteTentacool: Limited powerhouse, possibly too strong at this mana cost.
Everything else looks good
